Great leaders create a place of safety... Walking in the castle grounds today made me think of how great leaders create a safe environment for their teams. A place where it is safe to be honest, test new approaches, make and learn from occasional mistakes, respect and celebrate differences. Also one where you feel safe to leave that castle and take an objective view from the outside. We all perform best when we are happy in what we do.
