Strength, resilience & leadership
Strength and resilience are of course important leadership qualities but what do these words really mean for you? Standing strong doesn’t have to mean obstinance or refusal to change. Sometimes it can be about listening and understanding whether it is time to adapt or to completely stand your ground. After all, strength is most effective when combined with patience and in some cases with kindness. In leadership, strength without compassion soon becomes weakness. I continue to take inspiration from the world around me and seeing these rocks off the coast on a gorgeous sunny day made me think of how they both stand firm and adapt their shape to their environment. I guess that’s a different type of flow theory. Well I think they are rocks...either that or Nessie has left her Loch and headed south to what are perhaps warmer climes...or it could be a Drogon sleeping
