Donkey Theory

Seek out the difficult ..... Of course I love being in the company of positive, achievement driven people. As an interim consultant I also know that I often learn most from those who may appear to be difficult, critical, stubborn or generally grumpy. When needing to quickly understand what is really going on it is so helpful to listen to those who are prepared to speak their truth even when they think it will be badly received. This brings me on to why I’ve included a donkey picture (thanks to National Trust, Erddig) Donkeys are lovely creatures who can be known for their perceived stubbornness. Donkeys are actually really very clever, they simply think differently. So I guess the message is seek out and respect the donkeys, they may just teach you something you really do need to know ;-)
